IJWBAA [eej-wah] is a Filipino digital artist and the first Filipino recognized in the Techspressionism movement. He is a neologist and the originator of Decolonial Minimalism—an art movement that reclaims minimalism through ancestral memory and cultural reawakening. His works, compiled in two volumes of I Just Wannabe an Artist, have been recognized, officially archived, cataloged, and made available in the collections of the Gallerie degli Uffizi, Museo Reina Sofía, the National Museum of the Philippines, Getty Research Institute, and other prominent cultural institutions worldwide.

Traveling to Baguio allowed me to reconnect with nature and the local art scene, while celebrating New Year's at the beach with loved ones reminded me of the importance of balance—between work, creativity, and personal moments. Returning to my digital art practice after the holidays, I faced the challenge of regaining momentum, but the commissions and creative projects awaiting me served as motivation to push forward. This month reinforced the value of taking breaks to recharge, as well as the joy of creating with fresh energy and perspective.

November 2022 was a month of self-care, resilience, and strategic growth. Prioritizing my health meant stepping back from my usual creative pace, which was a challenge in itself, but it also reminded me that rest is essential to longevity in any artistic journey. Once I regained my strength, I returned to my work with renewed focus, not just in creating but also in finding new ways to connect with collectors and buyers.
